Moscow. June 24. INTERFAX.RU – Inflation expectations of the population rose in June after declining in May and April, approaching the values of August – September 2021, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation said in a comment.
„The growth of inflationary expectations in June was due to an increase in the estimates of respondents without savings, that is, less wealthy groups of the population. Expectations of respondents with savings fell slightly,” the Bank of Russia notes.
Short-term price expectations of enterprises, according to the monitoring of the Central Bank, continued to decline in June, returning to the level of last spring.
