Based on the results of the annual meeting, X5 Retail Group shareholders included Fyodor Ovchinnikov, co-founder and CEO of Dodo Brands, Vadim Zingman, president of Alfa Group, and Olga Vysotskaya, who previously worked at KPMG, PwC and Deloitte, to the supervisory board.
In addition, Ekaterina Lobacheva joined the X5 board (in March, Lobacheva took over as president and head of the retailer’s Russian holding company).
Also, X5 shareholders approved the financial statements for 2021 without the opinion of an independent auditor, the company said.
Previously, X5 said it was making efforts to obtain the external auditor’s report and plans to release the consolidated financial statements for 2021 by the end of July, along with the report of the external auditor of CATR Audit Services LLC (formerly Ernst & Young LLC, Russia, which will continue to operate under brand B1) as soon as the separation from the EY global network is completed.
